My name use to be Denise. I was wishing I was a Peacock. I was a dodo bird. And, on top of that I was a very plain, very vanilla Do Do bird. I blended into everything. No one noticed me. It was a very lonely life. So, one day I decided to do something about it. I went to Tyrone's Institute of Plumeology and Cosmetology. I told them I wanted the works. I told them I was tired of hanging around harbors. I told them I wanted to be an entertainer in San Francisco. And, so I got feather extenders, feather dyes, and quill curls. I've gone through Exotic Bird Image Therapy and "Strut Your Stuff" Hypnotherapy. I've read "How To Be Iridescent" by Percy P. Cock. I've had "Plume of the Night" hormone replacement, feather tattoos, se-quil implants and China silk nail art. And now I am the the Drag King of birds and I have top billing at San Francisco's most elite bird bar, The Flamboyant Fowl where I am the star of the Birds of Paradise Review. And, I've changed my name to Dom De La Feather. And, all my wishes have come true. I am a happy bird at last.
